Hennaveda Organic Henna Powder is an exceptional henna powder that is grown in our ancestors fields in Sojat, Rajasthan. As farmers, we take the utmost care in the cultivation of the henna crop. To maintain the quality of soil and henna and to be able to supply the finest, unadulterated henna, farming is done using traditional methods.

Lawsonia inermis is a natural material derived from the powdered dried leaves of the Lawsone inermis (henna) plant. Henna’s primary active component, lawsone, combines with the protein keratin in skin and hair to produce a potent red-orange stain. The higher the lawone compound in the henna, the darker its stain, which lasts until the skin and hair shed.

The soil in the Sojat region has minerals that enable the rain-fed henna crop, which we only harvest once a year, to have the highest Lawson content. From ideal climate conditions to the soil’s composition, this stretch of land possesses all the circumstances necessary for the plant to flourish perfectly.

Premium-grade henna leaves are manually collected from the fields, dried in the sun directly for a few days, cleaned and sifted to eliminate particles, sandstones, seeds, and twigs, and then milled in the top-notch Hennaveda machine.

The highest degree of lawone content in the henna is maintained by filtering and finely grinding the leaves at low temperatures using a novel and improved technology in a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit of hennaveda.
